I am a believer in being 100% debt-free. My husband and I managed to accomplish this in our first 2 1/2 years of marriage while paying for college with cash, and have maintained a debt-free budget since July 2012. I hope our experience will be of some help to you if you are striving to take control of your finances.

I paid almost $45,000 cash for my 4-year degree. It took me seven years of going in and out of school to do it, but it was the best feeling taking my diploma and having $0 debt.
